Vaguely interesting (from a technical standpoint), but still sad nonetheless.

Holy Cr@p:eek:

Did that guy seriously construct a full size 737 flight simulator in his home!!

Imagine how much time and money he has invested. For the same amount of time and money he could probably have gone and got his commercial pilots licence and be flying the real thing now!!

the other obvious issue is how on earth you find these sites Ant?? ;)

Well that site was on the B3TA newsletter from www.b3ta.com

As for sad, I dont think I can comment knowing how much time and cash I have spent on cars which will seem sad to someone else :D

Dedicated, and if he did it all himself, very clever.

A cheap way of getting into the mile high club?

I agree, very clever. But I bet it wasn't cheap. He even went to the trouble of getting "EXACT Boeing grey" ffs!

I still think he should have gone and gotten his pilot licence and put his talents to better use... Maybe he could have designed a new way to stop people getting guns and knives (or drugs) onto planes, or a system to make air traffic contollers lives a little less stressful, or a compact parachute to replace the 'life jacket under your seat that is really useful at 40,000 feet'.

Well yes, but think of the cost of a couple of tickets trans-atlantic first class. a few quick ones and he is quids in

perhaps that's the next bit, he's going to have a virtual hijacker telling him to fly into a virtual buildin at a virtual 200mph

I think its great, but the cheap PC monitors let it down...

If I can get it back, I might stick it in my living room and wire in a PS2 for Gran Turismo just like that guy :D

I didn't realise tha the zorsts were let into the body. That's quite clever.
How did you do it? And isn't that Ashington or somehwere like that?

That is Cheals roundabout in Crawley.

To cut a long story short I lost it on the slight left hand bit of road on that straight. Fishtailed a bit, hit the outside curb with the right rear wheel. This broke, went under the car flipping it and it somehow ended up on the roof sliding down the opposite curb.
