MOT query

MOT time on my Skyline (ran out while i was on holiday)... every thing should pass ok, exept... i have a worn bush on my upper suspension linkage... been meaning to get it replced for a few weeks as it knocks going over bumps... only problem is... the bush needs to come from japan... :( so atleast a weeks wait.... is this gonna fail my car????

Depends if the tester can feel any movement in it when it's on the ramps. If he can't then it will pass unless it looks knackered and then it might fail.

hmmm..... on the ground with the weight on the wheels you cant feel anything, but if the car is jacked up, then you can feel movement... looking at it it looks fine....

They do raise the car front and rear to to check for worn bushes, so it'll probably fail. :(
