Hi!
I'm actually searching for this song since many years. I've discovered it once on an old tape of my dad and neither he, nor local radio stations, DJs, music stores or online search engines could help me find it.
The singer sounds a lot like Ronnie James Dio in his song 'All the fools sailed away', but I've been told it could be from a local (Austrian) group called Pegasus, so???
I can't quite believe the Pegasus theory as the singer sounds a lot like he was from Great Britain.
I think it has come out in the late 70s, early 80s
The song starts quite depressive with acoustic gitar and low voice and from the first chorus continues with screaming voice/ hard e-guitar riffs.
The lyrics are:
Tomorrow's today, today's yesterday
It's all the same to me
Now my life is weakened without you
I hear a voice from far away
The sound's so sweet and fine
I don't know is it fantasy or truth
Chor.:
See your fantasy
until the night is gone
See your fantasy my love
Make my dreams come true
Don't leave me alone
See your fantasy tonight
Oooh
I was dreaming - It was night
I saw you, I touched you, you faded away
I hear words still in my mind
You whispered in my ears
Baby, Baby, please forgive
I know you longed to stay
Loneliness it spends the night so long
It seems to be a nightmare from the hell
It drives my heart - it drives me mad
Wherever I go I see again
Only you can free me from this spell
Chorus
Inside of my dreams
Inside of your fantasy
Sorry if some of the text is wrong, but the tape is rather bad quality and my native tongue is german
And sorry for the long post, but I thought as much information as possible would help
I could also try to host a MP3 of it somewhere if you'd like to have a listen. Actually it's a very good song.
I know, this is no music board, but hey, this is the non related section isn't it  :D
Thanks alot!
