Unfortunately yes!!!!!

1) I've not been feeling hungry
2) I've not been feeling thirsty

But worst of all. . . . .

3) I've lost 7 lb since Monday this week!!

But on a serious note:

I felt pretty low on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, almost low enough to quit. But Wednesday afternoon I felt great and have done ever since!!

Of all the people I've spoken to who have been on the Atkins diet, they all say they felt pretty low at some point in the first week. But all said that it past in less than 24hrs and never came back!!

I think this is quite likely to be the "transition" time, where your body is changing chemistry from burning carbs to burning fat.

according to dr atkins cholesteral levels will actually drop and the good cholestrol, HDL levels will rise when carb intake is conciderably reduced and refined sugars are cut out

after I posted I was thinking about it...

Since the diet sounds awesome (and is not that dissimilar to my present diet :D) I figure you could always just keep an eye on your cholesterol and take a pill to reduce it if it was a problem. It would be worth it :D:D:):)

i haven't started it yet as me and si (jackadoodledo) have been havin a disagreement on the issue.

he doesn't think it's a good idea and doesn't want me doing it,

where as i think it's worth doing it for a few weeks to loose most of the weight and then just keep it off with healthy eating and exercise...

healthy eating and exercise.................

two words i never thought i'd hear myself say in one sentence.....Lol:D
