View Full Version : Who can do what? (All Trades, not cars)

I thought a useful thread in addition to the car related sticky would be one for peoples trades. Plumbers, builders, sparkies, staircase salesmen, police officers etc.

I hope people may find it useful if they ever need a had with a non car related issue.

Reasoning that sparked this was my hunt for tradesmen regarding my new place. Boiler service, driveway replacement, decorators etc. It would be good if members can help each other out, especially if it's how they make a living and it's a good way to gain business and hopefully a good reputation around the South West (and other regions) for future business.


Location: Taunton

Trade: Civil service - Nautical charts.

Jobs: very little unless you go sailing and don't know where you are going

Seriously though:

Location : Torpoint (for a few more weeks)

Trade: Engineer/mountain biker

Jobs: Helpfull with most jobs, love working on cars. Good with mountain bikes (lived in Whistler for the summer, going back soon) Only thing i dont have much experience is wheel building, can give advice on suspension setups to tyre choice:) And gear set ups. Also, dont have any software but i can have a crack at light engineering problems:thumbs:

Anyway,
Channie where the hell are you, i went to come and feed you and theres a chewed off hand by your leash! Youre gonna pay for the carpet to be cleaned when i find you! And im not even going to mention the bodily fluids that are EVERYWHERE!:whip:

Trade: ICT (any technology)

Job: ICT Tech for DCC, my job is also my hobbie so I luv any troubles with PCs/networks of any scales or setup. I also do house calls if anyone has a problem.
