I was driving from the Avenue Of Rememberance towards Cowdray Avenue, and at the roundabout where they meet North Station road, I was in the left lane, going ahead. The exit to the left of me is full of cars, but there's enough room for me to go straight ahead as I planned.
This was until some w@nker driving a new 3 series Bimmer, oh his phone cut right in front of me, blocking me off completaly. There was nothing I could do but sit there swearing (my window was opened. He could quite easily have stopped before he did allowing both lanes where I was to go, and there was no way I could have stole his place in the queue, but the w@nker did this anyway.

Well someone must have heard how pissed I was in the right hand lane because this red Fiesta Van drove past me with the passanger hanging out the window saying "dont worry mate, we'll soak him"
He proceeded to point a huge Super soaker or something out of the window as he was driving past, and soaked the Bimmer driver!:D :notworthy
He then poked his head out of the window again to see me giving him the thumbs up.

One W@nker put in his place!:D :D :D :D
If I met the guy again, I would deffinately give him a pint!

If that happened 2 me I think the road rage would slowly turn into a massive grin for the rest of the day.
considering I send around 2 hrs a day traffic, behind a milk float (they need a NOS upgrade) , merc drivers cutting me up or someone who has'nt got a clue in which lane they want 2 be in.

Sweet

A word comes to mind.... oh yes, "twat", that's the one. ::)

Actually I'll retract that since you didn't say YOU do it, but SXOC wont let me delete the post.

I'm intrigued - where was the BMW driver coming from? If he coming from the roundabout somewhere, then surely he had every right to do what he did, as he had right of way over you? Sure, he could have stopped a few metres short to allow you through, but I'd hardly slag him off as much as you have done since he didn't actually DO anything wrong.

You sure? This isn't made apparant by your post, you were in the left hand lane, could clearly have been about to turn left into the queue on that exit that the BMW joined?

I do believe there are keep clear markings on that part of the roundabout, but if there aren't, then its just common courtesy.
Its also not illegal to just sit in the outside lane of a motorway, blocking it the whole time, but the people are still arseholes for doing it. Usually bimmer drivers as well in that case.

Position of the car to my left and my postiion made it impossible.

Well in THIS case I think the highway code states that you should be in the inside lane unless you are passing slower traffic. It's not a law as such, but it is in the book.

I'm not defending the Beemer driver for blocking you, but I do think you're overreacting big-style. Exactly the same thing happens to me when I leave work *every* day, and it's not just beemer drivers.

And what's wrong with BMW drivers anyway? Well sorted, reliable, quality, rear-wheel drive cars. The whole "bmx driver" stereotype is largely misguided - there's plenty of twats out there in all makes/classes of cars.

Tell you what. I do appx 55,000 miles per year. When you done that many miles in that little time, you tell me what you think of the various drivers of various makes of cars. And yes there are twats in all makes of car. But they usually drive bimmers.:wack:
