And btw Steve and Amy thank you v much for the coil packs, mine arrived yesterday and I'm just about to go out and replace yours with mine so I'll have yours ready to give back on Saturday!

Thank you again

Going to the Audi International at Combe.

Love the sound of R8's and RS6's.

Lack of friction material and fcuk'd disks on the back. Not looking like I will make it now anyway. Car is done but have the inlaws round at 1.30 :-(

The mrs love the R8, she wants me to hire one for the wedding car. £3k deposit though!

Me and Amy should get there around half 2 I reckon.

Amy has had Vade resrpayed, but lack of number plate a few other niggly, (legal) bits still need sorting so we'll both be in my car.

She's even got a flat bootlid at last! :D (rear screen and 3 quarter windows wern't removed - too expensive if they broke)

Dead chuffed with the work

Tim, that's lovely, keep that rubbish lorry away from it! :D

Where did you have the work done and how much did it set you back if you don't mind me asking? PM me if you don't want to post it here :)

FullMetalGasket

£2500 :wack:
But that was including sorting all the dings, rebuilding the boot and fixing any rust encountered (2x 4" holes at the back of the sills! plus some minor patching of the right rear wheel arch) + undersealing
Front windscreen was out (had rust in the A pillars that needed fixing aswell  ) so as the old one was knackered I got a new windscreen too (extra £330ish as I was paying the glass fitter myself)

Company were Prestige Auto Refinishing at Backwell farm Nr. Iron Acton.
You can call them on 01454 227475, ask for Mark :)

This is the same lot that used to do the work on my S14a and have done touchups to various cars belonging to my parents :)

Tim, that's lovely, keep that rubbish lorry away from it! :D
The rubbish lorry was 'helping' me show off the paintwork :D

Maybe when I win the lottery then :wack:

TBH it wouldn't be worth it on my car at the moment as I have to park it on a tiny crowded side street and it picks up new scratches/dings all the time :(

Your car looks fantastic now though Tim, definitely worth it. Reminds me of this:
