Also posting here.

Is the CAS from the sr20det from the S14 different to the CAS from the sr20det out of the s13 Silvia?

Pretty sure I've mixed and matched them and never noticed any difference

Also looked on google, and RHD japan claims that they all are the same. As they are selling the same CAS for all sr20det engines.

Hmm...now to find one within an hour :D

13 minutes in Holland is fast!! And also able to collect on a Sunday.

....

My mate Mark was stuck in Belgium with his broke down s13 Silvia. RAC had been round and said him that the CAS was dead....
So fixed one and started driving to Gent ( Belgium ).

Got there after a few hours at some very friendly garage-people but in a area with people next to the doorstep...
Changed the CAS, as there was told that it was faulty...still nothing!!! :(

So i started the normal route, spark...yes spark there is...fuel...nope no fuel!!
Doh...

Couldnt hear the pump prime, so took it out and found one wire being loose.

Fixed that.

But the CAS had been out, and with a lack of light and not being able to make lots of noise we had to stop timing the car. As it was just popping and banging loud!!

So drove all the way back home.....was about 1000km round trip.
Will be doing the same again on Saturday lol :smash:

And now your getz failed on you. Bummer.

Next plan, getting it towed, fetch my daily Ibiza and get going, then fix Silvia and drive back. Fix getz, fingers crossed it is oanly the distri belt and then get that one going....

Eventful weekend :S
