Dez,
You bet wrong my friend :D
Noise No.1 - rear drivers side - sounds like wheel but not rumble of bearing or pads catching etc.
Noise No.2 - posted several times before - noise like a rattle crackle on full throttle and high revs - fueling has been check and is ok - noise appears intermitent like something loose - heat shield etc?
OK - noise from turbo gasket as well but im sorting that soon - keeps coming loose.:(
what kind of noise do you get from turbo gasket?
high pitched screaching or shrill whistle.
been here and done this several times so have great experience of noise.......
starts with a hiss on full boost
louder big air leak hiss on all boost (still getting 0.6bar though) but guess tubby needs to work harder
now sounding like bl;owing zorst off boost with BIG air leak noise on boost
Not the noise from the turbo elbow saga, god damn it buy some Knuts and do it yourself!!!!
I'll be there

Folks turn up from 7.30 onwards. Always a good crowd of people, just introduce yourself matey.:)
The postcode for the Mascrat is WA3 6DR. Pop that into whatever route planner you use, and there you go. It's just off junction 21 of the M6.
I should be there depending on what mood I'm in and what sort of day in work also

Check your e-mail matey :D
BTW guys, since we are mooching in on the JapUK monthly meets, it would be nice to pop along to www.japuk.com and register as a member with them for organised trackdays and other meets etc if you're not already. 'Tis free and it would also bolster the 200sx support against the evil Honda contingent
I'll be there alongwith sxdave82 as well.
I'll be there for sometime after 8. I'll try and stay longer than my previous visit as we have so karting to discuss :D
and deposits to hand over. I will bring my money Vez.
Yeah and anyone else not coming to the karting, and wants too, and those who are and havent, bring ya deposite!

Well at da meet gangsta iz (STOP IT) im going to open it up to the JAP meets guys, if you wanna bring someone along, then sed me a deposite and Ill sort it :D
Ill be there :D
Ive TOLD the GF Im going, may have to drag her along though, but she can sit pretty in the car supping a drink :D - gah, I really know how to treat 'em ;) :D
Believe that when I see it  In Preston I heard rumours of me floating round the docks halicinating about being in your car :D
I shall try to arrive under stealth, though I doubt I can pull it off :(
Ive never quite managed to get the hang of fitting the bung in the exhaust ;) :D :D

Lets confirm Monday 14th July
If that's the day I hope to get there but what time till.
Just to offer anyone going to the Masrcat meet on Monday first dibs, does anyone want an Apexi Power Intake for £50? Still in the box, surplus to requirements seeing as I had three of them (don't ask :) ). I'll put it up in the usual For Sale section if no-one wants it but I thought I'd offer it up here first.
M8 do you know chris wilson I think Jon used him for the RLTC fitting on the supra ?
I am thinking of using him did jon comment on how good he was etc ?
A totally different Jon to you from the supra owners club.
Sorry Jon, he meant my mate Jon! Len, he said Chris W was shit hot and was very pleased with the work he did. You can talk to (my mate) Jon tomorrow night as he should be down if you want it from the horse's mouth as it where :D
Yeah reason being I am concerened about the upping of the boost. All the tuning shops here are without doubt SHIT apart from hiteq and I can't get into him.
So I thought I would try Chris as he is Formula 3 prep etc and an actual enthusiast.
So you think DP are shit as well? They sorted your det didn't they? :p :D
They are expensive
135 notes to fit and sort my DV and boost valve ?!?! and there was no fuelling being checked in that :(
DP are ****ers - a full day (and beyond 5 o`clock!) to fit a manifold and front pipe for me. AND the turbo pipe blew off the next day cos they`d over-tightened the jubilee clip and stripped it.
They`re 10 minutes away from me and I`l never use `em again.
Hiteq all the way
Theres a couple of people I have found today that are interesting.
accoring to rollingroads.net there is an RX7 specialist with an RR in northwich who will do tuning. Apparently there is another guy who works on porches etc in Widnes with an RR. Which surprised me as he is less than a mile away.
Otherwise I will have to beg Ian at hiteq I guess :p
He's still the best in my book too.

Chimp and the ginger postman pat (stuymac) were present too ;)
*AB* Had way more noises than Lenagh would you believe!!!!
I cant remember any ones name other than Dave
A number of attendies brought up the Joining issue, which I willl try and give an answer to shortly, and I got some karting deposites too :)
Lots of talk about Bren's car, and (yes I have forgotten your name) an interesting S14a with an S14 front end (and it is told that the vultures descended upon thou, withst no remorse - YOU GITS).
A couple of new faces, who havent even posted on the board, who got lost and spent an hour looking for a pub of junction 20 , Who told them 20?
A couple of nice RX7's and some other doofers too.
Chimp gets prize for best rev limiter (cheating git).
AndyF seemed a bit worried everytime I set the EDFC to hard though  dont know why at all :D
I wanna break the 20 mark next time ;)
I Still havent been in an S13  (Hint Hint Hint Hint Hint).
And Matrix wasnt there so I didnt get any free pies :(
No doubt andyF and his magic Nokia will be posting piccies shortly!

Vez, I did hear the 'KARTING!' shout last night, just checked and I'm still away:(
CraZyMoFo, what was the widgit we were talking about for the aircon? (I was the chap you swapped the control unit for;) )
Can't wait for the next one:cool:
AL
my first time there, i enjoyed it and the convoy drive with stu pieman and his brother ( didn't catch his name) was good even if I did nearly die at the m56 turn off.
By the way Pieman how fast were you doing on way home when you overtoiok me who was just slowing from 130!!!!

AL,
It's a resistor that has blown controling the fan. it works on no 4 because that has no resistor on it. I'll find out where it is & how hard it is to find.
Cheers
Greg
Nice seeing everyone lastnight, plus thanks for the FATF comments :D
The turnout was good and thanks to the guys who overturned the lorry cos that was pretty cool
If he'd had three sets of teins on the left side of his truck he would have made the corner easy :D

150+ on my clock lol, but we on a private rd i did say it was unusualy fast
Jaysus, I thought it was fast. You said on the way up your clock showed 110 when we were doing 125 so maybe if your clock was showing 150+ you were really doing 160+!!!
does your car feel alright engine wise after doing that, cos I want toi see how fast cxar goes but don't want to wreck engine
Speedos are absolutely shite above 70 mph, borrow a GPS and that will tell you how fast you were actually going!
If you cant find a GPS to borrow may i suggest you go over the thelwall viaduct in the early hours of the morning as fast as you can. The reply may take a while but im sure the government will send you a letter telling you to the nearest 0.1mph exactly what speed your car is capable of:D
