Hi Jez,

Just wandering if you could offer some advice and give me a price for some work.
Not really sure what stage i'm at? if you can't remember, my mods are, Exhaust from block back inc tubular manifold, FMIC, Z32 AFM, gt2871r (.86 housing) 720cc injectors and your custom map. and the other obvious bits and pieces.
I can't think of what else I can do now other than internals which is out of my budget at the moment so was thinking maybe cams? What would you recommend and what benefits would I get and how much to fit them if I source them?

Thanks for any help,

Cheers,

Dave.

If you do the cams I'd recommend doing springs as well. I'd go for Tomei 260 deg cams - they'll give you more peak power but may make the engine slightly more laggy.

Prices are:
Cams - £449
Springs - £89
Fitting for both - £349
Remap to suit - £199

Give us a call if you'd like to book in :)

Ok thanks, Just waiting to hear back from my mate to see if he can fit them. If he can is it possible to drive to you with them fitted for a re-map? Or will it be undrivable? What sort of power do you think i'll be getting once there on? Last dyno was 350bhp at 1.4bar. Is that the max pressure i'd want to be running?

Cheers,

Dave.

We could just fit the cams if you wanted - it's just we alway recommend doing the springs at the same time.

You'd be able to drive the car over no probs if you got the parts fitted before mapping.

We can go for 1.4 bar or more - obviously the more power you run, the higher the risk of something going wrong.

Does the head have to come off to do the springs?

Ignore the above message, found out it doesn't need removing :wack:
Do you think I could squeeze 400bhp once the cams are done? Maybe a little more boost?? Sure i've seen a few people with same mods achiving 400.

Cheers,

Dave.
