Hi guys,

Putting this in here due to the size of it, I can deliver it for the cost of petrol or you can pick it up:)

I'd like to sell this lot as a whole as it just makes it easier, BUT I am willing to split if i find buyers for all of it:)

LG 42LF66 42" LCD 1080p
Samsung AVR-720 Amp (HDMI)
Tannoy EFX 5.1 Speaker set (4 satellites, 1 centre and a sub)
Samsung Upscaling DVD player (HDMI)
Awesome kit, the TV has a fault with the optical output (audio) but its not used in this setup so has no effect. Also includes all cables etc..

Looking for offers around £475:thumbs:

Selling as I'm moving to Whistler in November.
Cheers, Ferret

Interested in the speaker set (and amp if needed!) if you do split. Got the rest - smaller tv but anything bigger would look too big in our living room.

Off to Whistler again??? I'm soo jealous!!

is the optical output (audio) the red and white cables? would you sell the tv by its self?

ferretca18

Im gonna be working in a ski rental/ mountain bike store, key word here is sponsorship:) Means I can get my residency after a couple of years.

Optical out is the fiber optic cable for sound only, doesnt matter if you run straight to an amp from the source. The only thing it stops for me is getting surround sound on normal tv, I just run sky, xbox and my dvd player straight through the amp.

If you use it just as a tv its fine, only really a problem if you run full surround sound:) (even then, there are way around it:))

I would sell the TV separately, Would take £200 for it due to the optical output being lame:thumbs:

so i couldnt play xbox without an amp?

ferretca18

xbox will run fine, just use the HDMI connection:) Its only if you choose to run a surround sound source (to an amp) directly from the tv (I just run everything direct to the amp)

I run my setup as follows:

Xbox and DVD player to the tv via hdmi.

Surroundsound is wired in from the optical sources on the xbox and the dvd player straight to the amp:)

Works a treat:)

Good price for the TV. Lady is in the states at present but will see if I can muster something up :-) (No promises, I'm pretty broke at the moment LMAO, but I know she would like a TV for the bedroom).
