I'm going to see a PS13 shell this weekend, it's a rolling one so all it needs is an engine and box. I'm thinking of dropping my CA18DET in there and maybe swap it out next year.

Will my s13 exhaust fit?
I'm assuming I'll need my CA loom (it'll work with the ps13 clocks etc?)

Anything else I need to bear in mind?

Cheers

I've just done this to mine, I found that despite what everyone says on the forums that the SR20 exhaust fits turbo back, although mine has a flexi section which might help.

Loom wise they just swap over and then the speedo and dials work just fine. Only problem I had was that the intercooler was different and the water hoses to the interior matrix heater are a different size so dont fit (I bypassed mine for now but a reducer would work)

Oh and you will need to make sure you have the ca18 airflow MAF or a chip to work with eg. the Z32 and have the CA18 dropping resistor and ignition amplifier.

Thanks AJ, you might have some PM's your way soon if I hit some issues :D

Edit: So you don't think my CA exhaust will fit, that's gonna be a PITA...

I'm also assuming that you have a CA bellhousing or gearbox, and clutch. :)

Yeah I have a fully running S13 so bits like that shouldn't be a problem!

your CA exhaust will fit. people have to cut the flange off SR exhausts to get them to fit CA's and vice versa.

check for rust, make sure the rear bits like lights boot windows bumper are all good.

So its a PS 13 which would have had an SR20.

YOu said its a rolling shell, so I assumed there wont be any clocks or anything? LOL :D

And yes, the exhaust will fit front to back.

If not I might have a spare light :)
