Just a reminder/heads up to any peeps that aren't going to JAE that it's the Brighton speed trials this Saturday along Madiera drive. You can watch from the seafront road above for free, or pay to get in and mingle in the pit lane. [tenner I think].

Normally a good selection of cars and bikes on show and a fun day out for the Local's.:thumbs:

just got back from this, our formula renault ran 12.41 @ 110mph in the wet. that f40 doing a 360 was pretty hairy

the black rex with the ls2 and ap racing 330mm's? sounded all wrong! bet it was major work mounting the powerplant frame

Impressive :thumbs: Was the spin later in the day ? I missed that :rolleyes::wack:

was impressed with how effortless and quiet the new GTR powered up the drive in a bit over 11 secs :thumbs:

yeah that was my 14a on the seafront. the f40 spin was during practice in the morning iirc. the r35 gtr did a 12.5 in practice, span the wheels through first. then he turned launch control on for the proper runs and took a second off his time. and probably invalidated his warranty in the process!

i didn't take any pics steve, but i'm sure some will turn up on facebook. hopefully not of the back of our car as i had to rip half the new diffuser off when we switched to wets after the practice run as it was shredding the tyres. mockup with the diffuser was only done on slicks :wack:
