Does anyone know anything about the dormitories here? It would be around Lakenheath AB.

Lakenheath AFB is about 25 miles from Cambridge and a community in it's own right. The enlisted dorms there are pretty decent.

Cambridge University is in... Cambridge.
It used to be a polytechnic and has since changed to university status. It has halls of residence that are 'typical' student dorms.

Also, AFAIK, Cambridge University is NOT an Oxbridge university, and you don't sit Oxbridge papers to enter it (Unlike all the old universities).

I am petty sure that there are two universities in Cambridge: one is called the University of Cambridge or Cambridge University and the other is called Anglia Polytehnic University. The former is part of the Oxbridge and the latter is a former polytechnic.

universaiyty of cambridge is the uni and Anglia Poly is the ex poly.

Yes, but I understood that Cambridge uni used to be a poly about 40 years ago.
90% sure that you don't sit Oxbridge exams for entry too. Also would be backed up from experience DJing there.... students didn't seem the same type as you get from an 'older' Cambridge college (ie they were smilling lager, not pims ;) ).
