Not bloody fair!! Getting to the final stages of my engine rebuild and its fookin pissing it down.

Finally got the engine put together yesterday and its sitting in my front room. Need to get it outside to fit the manifolds, flywheel, clutch and gearbox and its like some bastid has just opened a tap above my house. Cant fit the parts in the front room as the engine would be too bloody heavy to get outside.

Looks like its going to rain tomorrow as well, then I'm at work for 3 days so wont be able to work on it and Saturday is supposed to be the day its going back in the car.

Sorry to hear that steve.

You could always pop down to B & Q and buy a gazebo to put over the car, they do a 3m x 3m one for £35. Just a suggestion.

You'd be able to work on the car then mate!

Kirky.

That's a neat idea. We're having a barby at the weekend (weather permitting) and I was wondering where to put those folk I'd sooner not have in the house :D

interesting, all this sunny weather has provided me with a false sense of security, and low and behold 2day i foolishly applied my semi-aggressive driving style in the wet, with the boss behind me!!what resulted was a lovely 'snake' with the backend flying out from side to side, managed to get it under control tho - hope the boss was impressed, no doubt he'll just think im a p*ick or lucky 2 be alive!!! Never underestimate the power of a decat in the wet!! ;) :D

on my cars service history, the first owner got done for nearly 800 notes for replacing the tubby gasket by the dark lord of the sith, mr nissan!

dunno.

hoping its just the downpipe, but preparing myself for the worst ;)

getting it RRed on Friday after putting the next lot of mods on... no point sorting out the fueling if the gaskets are knackered...

I have a downpipe on order... given the state of the back of the exhaust when I replaced it, the downpipe should be pretty much dead. which will leave me with only 1 cat (aww)

but if that doesnt fix it, may well be gasket time.
