What sort of cars can you shove a s13 200sx engine in? - Using the 200sx running gear could you shove it in an XR2 or a Nova etc.

Or is there a kit car that could easily take the engine?

There is a guy that sometimes comes to the 1/4 mile strip in crail with an XR2 with a 360bhp cosworth engine + RWD! - sounds like fun to me!

Any thoughts?

One of the most frighteningly fast cars I have ever been in was an E reg Reliant Scimiter SS1 1800Ti over 10 years ago. It used the old Nissan Silvia engine.

Dread to think how fast one would be with a tuned 200sx engine.

There was one of them at SE when I picked my car up a few weeks ago. How similar are the Silvia and 200 engines ? I think they only had 135BHP standard and I think they are only 8 valve.

i had the Silvia befor my 200sx, standard they are about 135bhp, mainly due to only having a T2 turbo (very small) running at only 7 psi. plus they dont have a intercooler. and yes they are 8valve. mine had a t3 turbo on it when i bought it, plus a frount mounted intercooler, off a volvo. that made a big difference to the power, all i did was run a bleed valve with 19 psi boost. and it went very well! http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif
i never did rolling road it, so dont know power output, but must have been well over 200bhp coz it went better than my 200sx. i ended up selling it for £150 because the mot had run out, and ther was rust every where. dam i should had kept it for bits on my 200. t3 would have gone on, and intercooler, or maybe the hole lump. i did 40,000 miles in it on 19psi and it never smoked or went wrong, and the big ends never knocked once! oh well, the 200 is better looking

It would go in a Westfield (or similar), that would be fun!

A Westfield was the first thing I thought of as well, but I was under the impression that they were quite pricey???

The Corolla on the other hand I did not think of - they are RWD are'nt they? http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Nice and cheap too, might be hard to find a good one though!
