Rang up and they said it's the same stuff? Anybody else experienced this?
I asked for advice from OPIE Oils the other day this is the response:
Hi Mark
Silkolene car oils are now called Fuchs Titan Race, same stuff, same bottle, different label.
I'd go for the Pro S 5w-40 for the engine, which is on offer.

The Syn 5 for the gearbox

The Fuchs Racing brake fluid or Motul RBF 600 or 660 in the brakes

and the Motul Inugel coolant

Yep, the name change over happened a while back (I personally think FUCHS were silly to do it, but meh), it's the same stuff
Ah right. Just seems a bit odd that they sold both prior to this recent takeover.
What's that Syn 5 like for notchy boxes? I recently just put some crap Comma in from my local Autospares, but its not improved it at all. Still got a slight crunch 2nd > 3rd. Gonna try and get hold of some Nissan stuff but my local dealer is absolutely useless so gotta try and find the next nearest.
I've heard that Motul R600 is good stuff for the brakes!?

Syn 5 is rubbish for crunchy boxes, it makes them worse. My first-to-second issue was cured by Nissan stuff :)
