Theres no real reason to be honest, the car is superb I still love it to bits but if there was something to negate me to sell it, it would be the fact I really want to mod it and I cant afford to mod it and run it and driving it 50 miles a day back and forth to work is killing me. Going to get an altezza for now which is a little better on reliability and general costs (petrol, tax etc) But I know full well I will have another one in 12-24 months, but while I take a break from one I am going to try and get on the best possible wage I can so the next one I have is superb :)
Also 1 of the big things that worries me is if it goes wrong THEN I wont be able to afford it.

Gona go mental! These bloody tezzas are ridiculous to find in white! What the hell is going on :( Everyone I go to ring its already sold damn these harsh times! And the only place I can seem to find em at a decent price is Pistonheads and autotrader, tezzaworld and lexusoc are useless!
I'd have a bit more of a look into the running costs if I were you. The Altezza is JDM and therefore has an insurance premium over a UK spec car, like your 200 for example. If you think Nissan parts prices are top dollar wait till you see Toyota's! My mates Glanza needs a new rear caliper and the re-furb kit is more than a new caliper for a 200! Having said that, I've always got the car I wanted and just done without other things, such as food, new clothing etc, lol.:wack:

Basically what im doing now ahah and sacrificing time with the mrs, and I know the parts are expensive and high service costs but its alot more reliable, insurance isnt a problem either its 40 quid more than the sx with elephant :p God I love elephant.
Still not sure how I will sell the 200 though.... getting it done friday and im seriously not wanting to get rid but 35mpg on an altezza = yummy!
Buy a Deisel if you're after economy, save some decent wedge and then buy when you can really afford it. Neither the Altezza or the Sx are cars to run on a budget. My sx's have always been bombproof reliable to, unlike a mates Altezza.

mmmmm as it gets closer to the day I get more and more cold feet of getting rid of her, I am just worried she is going to go wrong down the line and its gona be such a big bill shes gona have to wait for it :/ I can afford both the sx and the altezza comfertably, but I want to be able to afford either and to take the mrs out, was your mates Tezza really bad? Read into as much as I could but theres so little about them on the net took me an hour to find out the stats on them.
Edit - If I stage 1 the car over a period shell run smoother and a little more bulletproof? Or is this just a myth I know a ECU would help mpg anyway after its been stage 1 or 2.
Put it this way, my massive power S14a, which should be unreliable according to popular logic, never went wrong, mechanically or electrically. His Altezza went wrong nearly every day, costing £50+ every time in parts or fiddling time. The SX if looked after correctly is one of the most reliable cars out there, it's when you start modding, badly, they start to go. As long as the shell is sound it should do you proud.

Don't sell it Alex.........you will regret it forever! I did and thats why I have another; exactly the same!
She won't go wrong in a big way if you treat her well and care for her regularly!
As mark said above. I bought myself an MX% Turbo and as much fun as it is I'm getting another 200.
SX's FTW :D

Ye I serviced her again last month as Im sure your aware and I love it to pieces but its rattlin a bit on start which I thought was VVT but buffy says its absolutely nothing but I am sure your all aware if a noise suddenly appears its annoying being told its nothing when it wasnt there before.
Anywho guess that comes with age and yer I have been looking at Altezzas lately and they have gone up in price... So I may not even come around to selling. 1 things for sure sell or not I need to sort out membership! got the cash just no paypal!
Or how to use paypal
just go get a little banger to got to and from work :P
Cleaned this up,as there was no warrent for a public slating!
I'll lock this for now,if anyone or yourself want to add anything to this, give me a pm!
