View Full Version : Curborough Track day
Hi all
I am organise a track day at Curborough sprint course for the 30th September it will be a laid back day not too many rules with an open pit lane so there will be alot of track time for everyone with there only being 10 cars. There are 6 places still available. It is £60 per car all day no extra charge for extra drivers or passengers. I can accept payment by paypal (paid as a gift to cover the cost).
No DRIFTING grip only
If anyone is interested pop your name down and contact me for further details or if there are any questions let me know.

how can you have a track day at curborough?
its tiny you would be stuck in second gear the whole way round.
im fairly sure that when i was looking into hiring it about 2 years ago before the mazda on track boys did a few drift days there it was about £250 for a half day 9am till 2 etc.. so £60 seems a bit steeep. you would be better off time attacking the big track at santa pod at least they have a cafe.
We've had 2 track days at curborough as a club before - both were ace and a great laugh :) 1 person on track, out for 3 laps, then back in :)

Cost totally depends on if you want the 'run in' track or not

Well I've always enjoyed my times at Curbough its just a bit of fun with relatively min risk. that's why I'm organising his day nothing to serious and I've made that clear. And I'm not actually making anything off the day so I can tell you that it is more than double that to hire the track for the day now so £60 is the min I can offer it to others.

I really enjoyed this little track when I went a few weeks ago. Suprisingly it really suited the s14a.
You can clip forth if your hard on the brakes down the straight.

We got into 5th with a 380bhp, 1180kg car, without using the hairpin part, so I'm sure you'll get out of 2nd...
