I replaced my S14 with....

Its a lovely car, just needs a smidge of tlc here and there and it will be special....
So first thing I ended up doing was sticker bombing the center console to add a bit of colour :)

And what I have been busy doing today....
The back has been fully stripped and unfortunately for a daily makes It a little rough IMO so decided I would give it a spruce up:

So a trip to b&q to get some thinish fibreboard (to reduce adding further weight)
And did this:

Once I got it all to shape/size....I then cracked on putting it together and adding hinges as Its such a lairy shape I wouldnt have got it in without being able to fold it up....:

By doing so though it meant I could have a small tool hole at the back where the spacesaver should be:

And a flap to hide the scissor Jack (when i put one in):

And finally cut out some carpet fabric and laid it over the top :)

Only an air filter. I have an exhaust lined up for it now (the old sexy knights exhaust ;) )
The engine has apparently had a rebuild 10k ago but no paper work to prove

Lol anyway update time:
It rained...somewhat epicly last night turning parts of the car into a pond, so this morning decided to do a 'temp' fix to stop water getting in via the holes on the rag top using some flat tape, it looks no worse than before but now at least it will keep water out till I find somewhere that'll retrim it, so cleaned up the water then taped it up

Front splitter isn't on the car at present as I ran it over lol...but while it's off I'm going to fix/spray it up.

Anyway a quick snap i took today i was taking the buckled wheel off to take it to be repaired, just glanced and liked the vibe inside the car:

All being well im taking a couple days off towards the end of the week to get the exhaust on, and to get my diff out degreased, and arc welded by a mate....Skids coming soon :wack:
