My new mahoosive project

Thought I'd share with you guys my new project :D

Now i know a few of you bumpkins have been down to my workshop for the bbq etc. and seen what its like, and what i use it for.

But things are changing :thumbs:

I've decided to start up on my own from January next year :wack:

The plan is to save up as much as possible by January to use as backup wages for year 1, when i'm likely to need it the most.
It means all my cars will be completed and sold on, and any parts sold on to raise as much cash as possible, and leave me with nothing i have to spend money on.

It also means, some big changes will be happening to the workshop over the next 4 months, so thought i'd take a few pics as it stands now, and take pics as i go along, so you guys can see (hopefully) the improvements made.

The plans to start with is as follows:


Tidy-up and re-paint Outside walls.
Repair Main doors and re-paint new colour.
Build security door over personel entrance.
Re-paint entire inside of unit.
Repaint Office in new colour
2 post ramp installed in centre rear of main workshop.
Make mezzanine level safer, and paint all Metalwork/gurders in main workshop.
Re-wire lights and switches, including new lighting under mezzanine level.
Convert current Paint stores into filtered extraction unit for spray room.
Move Shelving units from parts room to mezzanine level.
Convert parts room into Blasting room.



I have other plans, but with that lot done, it will mean i can open my doors to undertake any type of work from January.

Its going to be hard work, but hopefully there will be no looking back :nod:
