how much would you pay for one these days.
I want one as a project for 3-4 years.
I'm bored with the 200sx.
How much power do you reckon could be milked out of one of these motors.

Think a reasonable one would be 6-7k?, think thats what my friend paid for his (92, 2+2 uk twin turbo with a recent rebuild)
However say goodbye to your bank balance in keeping it running, a car of its age will have things go wrong (much like its expected on an s13), and when they do they cost a fortune to put right!
Check for rust, and tinkering under the bonnet will be nigh on impossible, there isnt any room!
In terms of power, well lots really! (heard figures of 400-500bhp banded around at a recent zed meet) However it might become a liability and blow up heh
Also it has been known to get as low as 14mpg, 50 quid to fill it up too and gets ~220 mile range out of a tank.

Saw one at Essex uni last night - what student can possibly afford a Zed?!?!?
I'll answer my own question here - started seeing lots of 200s at uni, in the same year that Essex uni brought in alot of Japanese students...

Guess thats not as bad as the kid at my uni who has at least 3 cars that I know of (and can afford to park all day on the parking meters in london!):
52 reg bmw 330 coupe (previously had a convertible)
52 reg bmw X5 4.4 v8
51 reg Jeep cherokee thingy
He wanted a 911 turbo next.
His dad has a ferrari 550 and a learjet FAWK!
Saying that my friend had his zed @ 20! (worked hard for it though so good on him).
