Search problem

Dont know where to post this as I cant see a bugs section or anything similar... :cry:

9/10 times I try to perform a search I get the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /home/sxoc/htdocs/vbb/search.php on line 1155

I know others are experiencing the same problem, but cant search for a related topic so sorry if its a repost lol :smash: :smash: :smash:

I may not be right as I know feck all about computers really but my old pc used to say that till I narrowed the search down a bit. I assumed it was because my old fridge style pc didn't have enough RAM to show the page.....or something like that

It's to do with the way you search. If it returns too many hits then it throws a wobbly.

IE. searching for 'S14 turbo'

you need to try to narrow it down a little like 'S14 gt2871r'

I thought it was but sometimes a shorter search helps, and other times just constant attempt at the same search eventually returns a result!

It is a real pain in the backside either way though! lol
