In case anyone's gonna bother with this, I need a Pilot Sport 225/45 17 tyre to go with my slightly effeminate merc SLK32AMG.
Only got one so far (Chrysler Crossfire) don't know what tyre it needs I'll update the list when I do.
We could do it like Steve did the JAE clubstand list and cut and a paste an updated list each time thers a new post.
If you put down the card you've got , (car or tyre) and your name then we can see who needs what without having to read the whole thread.
If it's anything like the top trumps promotion there were five winners and only 5 Ferraris printed so to get the whole set you'd have to be very lucky. I'm guessing that there are a lot of cars out there but only a very few winning tyres?

It's prolly either a lot of cars and few tyres, or half and half ie. half the cars are rare with common tyres, and the other cars are common with rare tyres.
Might be an idea to highlight either the one's we've got, or the ones we need so it doens't get confusing as to which is which.

Hmmmm, weird!!
It says on the card to get tyre cards you must visit a Michelin stockist!! Must just be worded a bit funny though!!
I got about 3 BMW X5 cards!! I'll dig one out to get the tyre spec off it, think its a damasis or something.

It'll show up in the text box as black, but the bits which will be red have [ color=red] [ /color] tags round them. Stick these on your's and it'll show up red. Press the preview post button to see what it looks like.

Yeah, but we may as well give it a go seeing as a lot of people here use optimax. You never know, someone might win :rolleyes:
I guess after taking part in the 'Win a dream car' of last years fiasco that the cards we've got are in abundance and the corresponding cards are as rare as fook (this was the case with the trumps last year)
There were only five possible full sets in existance last year as they (apparently) only printed 5 Ferrari cards.
I would guess that the same applies this year too? So if anyone gets a match someone will have a 'common' card and the other a 'rare' one.
even so, it would be a good idea to keep this list updtaed so that we'd know if one of us turned up a 'rare' one.

I have the Michelin Pilot Sport 225/40 18 for the Audi TT Roadster.
Following Algie's comments, I would say that these cards are almost worthless and that the TT card itself is worth at least 95% of the prize's value. At least this list will tell us what the valuable cards are.

How are you updating the list? I have SLK32AMG needing Pilot Sport 225/45 17 but didnt really know how to add it & didnt want 2 fcuk up the list!:confused:

It could be you with the matching card, in which case I doubt you'll be sharing... :D
Looking at the list it's obvious which cards are really important.
I'd suggest once we've got a couple of each card it's not wortth adding any more. We'll know what to look for and what we need.

In keeping with every one else, it would seem, I've got tyres for a TT, a Crossfire and X5 on their rims and abad feeling of Deja vu about this promotion. Does anyone remember the Ferrari give away perpertrated ny Marlboro fags back in the eighties. Same principal, a card in every packet which when put together was a kind of jigsaw puzzle of a Testa Rossa or something. Every one had the full set except for piece number '13' or whatever it was. What a load of tosh. Oh and we all had wicked smokers coughs too:rolleyes:

It did. Beginning of September...
just for reference, this competition hasn't ended yet. There are still 9 cars still left to win. Only the Crossfire has gone so far. Shell are not giving the cards out anymore they can only be obtained by post.
