omg lol the stink of cheese coming from the screen was un fooking real.
I knew this film was gonna be bad when I saw the guy with the afro :)
I now think the actor who plays Brian is made from more wood than even keanpoo reeves and that we may have the worlds first interracial Bill and Ted as they go on their BOGUS journey doooooods for the drug dealer dude ! guy ! homey ! Blood ! Bro !
Women only seem to be in the film to get slapped. Be it on the ass or in the face but thats all they seem to do get slapped by some rejects from playstations vice city game.
IN FACT I felt I was watching my mate play vice city all the way through this move WTF ?
Script seemed to revolve around random macho quotes which inadvertantly sounded homosexual
"I GOT SUMMIT FOR YO ASS DUDE !"
The first car chase was pants but at least there was a skyline in it.
The line up of the contenders reminded me of picking a character for a playstation game ! all extremes.
I was wondering if all the cars had different stats and could do different stunts or summit but they didn't provide a playstation controller in the cinema otherwise I woulda found out for you all.
Then they get a hairdresser car and a family saloon to go pull a heist in. I sorta fell asleep for a bit then.
Then the best looking muscle car in the film goes under a truck.
There was a blue s14 (95 model it had the old tail lights) in the film. Which was nice.
Then they all go on a big chase and pay homage to the dukes of hazard.
THE END
The film was pants the cars coulda been good but looked like some kid had taken a crayon to the paintwork.
To be fair the 60's muscle cars looked shit hot.
I STRONGLY advise anyone who wants to witness real street racing download Getaway in Stockholm 2.
So the film was pants but at least the company was good and we all went home smiling. Oh and everyone seemed to leave the car park in their shitty mums clios with at least one wheelspin afterwards ? jesus I think some of these people think this is what performance cars are all about !

I enjoyed it. Leave your brain at the door and forget the first film and it's just an adrenaline fuelled action flick.
They concentrated much more on the story in this one. I'll definately be buying it, if not just for the sound :thumbs:

the focus on cars got muddled a little, and was less centred on the obsession of jap performance cars as the first one, BUT it actually did have a (wafer thin) plot and some great camp interchanges between the characters - ie wooden boy paul walker and tyrese!!!
the car into boat sequence at the end was John Singleton's ode to the Dukes of Hazzard!! :thumbs:

Just before they jump onto the back of a boat thanks to a very handy perfectly located perfectly angled ramp.
As for leaving your brain at the door well no not when I also leave £5 at the counter to watch tripe like that.
The film should have been more serious by a factor of 1000 and it could still have been an interesting movie even for the local council estate tard jars.
I think I am simply annoyed because it makes us all look like dickheads.

and yes the constant use of 'black' street talk from a mainly white protagonist(paul walker=brian)can grate a little, in fact if i was black id be a bit insulted by the way walker has deepend his voice and goes 'cuz','blooood','bro' after every sentence!! - he never spoke like that in the first film!!
im pretty sure john singleton wanted a black main character and therefore wrote the lines for a black person.....who knows???
i know if you take paul walker out, then the film has very little to do with the original film and could literally be classed as a seperate car/action flick..........

i dunno leaving expectations aside i could literally sit through the film and be entertained apart from the highly cheesy "eat this sucka" and "bend over boy" lines.........the first film apart from the racing and tuning parts was hard going - you basically just blip through a dvd to the races and the tuning bits dont ya????2fast is actually a watchable film.........

I thought it was v.entertaining and being a girly, a good few six pax and pecs helped much !

Paul Walker is a bit shit, but he had to comeback or it wouldnt be a sequel.
And its full of great sounds of highly tuned metal.

They have such high lift cams etc that they will only idle smooth at 1000rpm+. When they sit at 500rpm (like in teh film) they sound like they are gonna stall, but still sound mean!!

I have to say i like corvettes and the new mustangs, but i wouldnt want to own one.
But there is something about a classic GT500 that makes it a star car. and that aint no 'gone in 60 seconds' talking either.
i lov ethe dodge charger! but i couldnt afford to run one!
I'm going to see this tomorrow afternoon, and then straight to the pub after. (probably to moan about it with an FTO driver and a Civic type'R' driver. It's going to be scrabble corner:p )
Having seen the general negative attitude most people have towards it I'm have my reservations already but I'll wait and see.
I enjoyed the first one as a complete no brainer with some nice motors and big action cars chases etc.

And really enjoyed it :confused: Maybe because I thought it was going to be REALLY crap (dunno what would have given me that idea Lenagh ;))
Couldn't care less about the storyline (the first one didn't have one at all IMHO and I still enjoy it) Just enjoyed sitting back and watching cars. I think I could do that forever :D:D It was nice to see some V8's too - loved the bit where he revvs the tits off it before that tag team race thing (the idea of the race was stupid as, but the cars racing... fantastic)

I must confess that I enjoyed it as well. Call it a guilty pleasure, but anything with car racing cant be all bad.
Only thing that pissed me off was the first race. If anyone tried to damage my car for a bit of a laugh would be drinking out of a fire hydrant :mad:
That last scene was not that great either.

I saw 2f2f last sunday and quite enjoyed it. The first race scene was the only bit that REALLY pissed me off, purely because it was more R-I-C-E than Uncle Ben. Apart from that, there was some great cars to just enjoy watching and listening to - shame about the stupid graphics as usual. Dumb yanks. Oh yeah, and the chick getting outta the jaccuzi in the house party type scene - :eek: :thumbs: :eek:

The best bit of the film was the end, when we left the cinima there was a car park full of lads in civics with neons reving the shite out of there motors- Piss funny that was!!
And what was the deal with the skyline?? wtf was that gas coming out the front of th car when he reved it????
I summised that the spray was a CO2 spray to port directly onto the intercooler and thus bring the intake temperatures down.
However it looks like he turned the nozzles to the side thus loosing any practical use for this tool and chose to spray naked girls in bikinis with it instead :thumbs:

Me saw it too and jury is still out on this one. The first race scene was well dodgy. When they jumped the raised bridge as if the wheels and suspension wouldn't just go SPLAT !
And as for the EVO he was proper canning it and only doing 70-90 :confused: with that amount of cane should have been doin 130+
But and entertaining film if u look passed all the bollox !

the problem is that although the cars are designed and made by people in the scene, the writer and director dont have a fcuking clue!!!!

they are used in drag racing to get fresh nitrous in the lines before a run down the strip.
