Anyone else seen this?

A few weeks ago I was about to pass a car on a dual carriageway. I was doing a silly speed. Was getting off at the next exit which was coming up, plan was to whip past this other car and then straight off onto the sliproad. But, as I was coming past in the outside lane, 2 blue strip lights (about 6" strips of LEDs) flashed on in his rear window. I promptly pooped myself (it was an unmarked white volvo) and dropped my speed down to 80 and opted not to pass him.

After the initial "fook" moment I decided it was just some random geezer winding people up by scaring the crap out of them. But last night the same thing happened to my mate, this time an unmarked white volve estate (I'm pretty sure the one that flashed me was a saloon).

I assume this *IS* police? Very nice of them to be so kind and not just to take my licence away for flippin ages instead!

Never seen it, nor do I believe it to be real!!

Most unmarked cars have hidden blue lights in the grille and have a "box" which lights up in the back window saying POLICE STOP

Agreed.

But you can't put anything past the buggers can you?
