Taunton or somehwere near there to have a meet lol

Right as its been disscussed, seems like there are a fair few people who would like a local south west meet. we were thinking to either having it on a saturday or a sunday, all depends on when you guys are free, i dont mind doing it on a sunday as i only work till 2, but just let me know or give me some ideas on times and day, and also where about in taunton we all can meet up and just have a laugh:sxoc:

Makers of pu-flex that I was assured was "the same stuff as Tigerseal/sikaflex". Followed instructions, left the kouki spoiler taped in place for 24 hours as instructed. Drove to work, parked up.

4 hours later during a quiet period I fancied popping out to oogle my :cool: new spoiler. Where was it? On the floor behind the car with lots of damage from falling off :mad: Only just got it back from being painted too :cry:

No :( It was hot and I had lots of other things I wanted to do on my only day off!

It looked great combined with the kit whilst it was fitted though. It will be repaired one way or another and fitted again. Probably with screws holding it down as well this time :( I really didn't want to drill more holes in the bootlid as I spent ages filling the holes left by the original spoiler, flatting them down and re-painting the tailgate. Left it nearly a week before fitting the spoiler for the paint to cure to avoid precisely this situation.

Sikaflex mate, it'll do the job. Just make sure both surfaces are clean, and grease-free. Car wax etc would not help with it sticking.
