Sorry if there's topics out there, but I thought it'd be quicker/easier to just ask outright. I'm just about to graduate from uni and as such I don't have a job. I figure it'll be at least the end of the summer before I've got a proper career, so I'm looking for something now. After reading something on the GTR board, I've got the idea of getting a job in a decent garage, as eventually I'd like to get into the tuning business one way or another. It doesn't even need to be primarily Japanese tuning, although that would definitely be nice, and I'll probably be quite happy making coffee and sweeping up to start with.
Anyone got any ideas?
the garage in wishaw?
but they already have a few staff.
I think ull be hard pushed to find a job tbh cos if ur a graduate they know ur not gonna be hanging about there.

True, it was just an idea. Would dearly love to learn how to map engines, I don't think I'd be much use at anything manual.
Cheers though
Problem is there is a total lack of decent jap engine mappers in Scotland, the expertise (and required equipment) in that area seems to be in England.

Yeah there's an opportunity there if someone were to take notice. I do remember that the Evo VII Extreme that was parked up at Star Performance at the RR day had an FC Commander stuck in plain sight on the dash however, so they obviously have the capability to map Power FCs there. How good they are I have no idea.
