Exhaust question?

Hi Jez,

Just got another S14a and will be looking to get it chipped by you at some point in the future however I have a question regarding exhausts.

You previously mentioned for the big power I'd need to go upto a full 3" system but I currently have a mongoose 2.5" on the new car and wondered at what point (stage) it will need changing or would my car benefit from it at the current state of of tune:

Apexi Induction kit (in enclosure)
FMIC
HKS SSQV
Nismo 555's
Greddy Profec II boost controller
S-AFC II
Walbro Fuel pump

Exhaust is turbo back running a stock T28 and stock manifold.

This isn't going to happen for a while as I'm still working on getting it ready for the MOT.

I'd go for 3" as you get up near 300bhp - although going 3" before ~300bhp will help performance and spool.
