Anyone every (accidently of course :)) drifted slightly in the street and had a cheer of clap form a crowd of people?
I accidently ;) let the back end slide out the other day, slightly greasy road, nice long sweeping corner, car drifted lovely for about 20-30 (EDITED TO CORRECT DISTANCE - HAD 320 METERS FIRST TIME!!! OOPS) metres before slowly coming back in. 4 blokes at the next set of traffic light gave a massive smile and a cheer, which was nice :D :D

I had some bloke flashing his headlights at my angrily when I went a little sideways around a roundabout on the way for some pool last night :D :finger:

Ill always remember that post Steve C wrote about his little blat in the back lanes when he came across a couple wlaking a dog - he shot past them and "they were waving and shouting, they must have really admired the power of the *****" - PML :D :D

Edit - misread :o
Small children stop and point, and the local rudeboys all stop their BMX's to have a good gawp, and I can hear the occasional 'Wow!' or 'It's a Skyline!' over the roar of the Blitz :D

....ive even had that in the s13!!! God, the kids of today, uneducated in the world of performance cars
The "wow" is the best, when your car is gleaming clean in the sun, you are a good 60 meters from any human and you blat it, back end dips or slides and the little kiddies hear it from miles away and love it. Must keep 'em happy, keep them away from Saxo's and Nova's....:D :D

I was sat at a junction the other day with 2 blokes walking past............
One of em says "Theyre well quick they are" :D
Other one sticks head down to window height and says "Give it some then mate!!" :D
And I was in a hurry ............. :D :D :D
When the tyre smoke cleared and I was 60m up the road, I looked back to see they both giving it
Nice. :)

I was parked in Manchester waiting for a hand job (cleaning the car that is) and three young lads walked by, took a few looks at the car and then each one said, in turn with a nod of the head...
"Nice car mate..."
I politely returned a "Thankyou" each time and off they went with large grins on their faces...
The MR2 driver to the front left of me who overheard looked rather jealous :D
oh and then yesterday morning I pulled over to check for a funny noise coming from under the hood (i'll find it one day I swear) and some young lad walked out of his house and over to me...
"I watch you drive by every day mate, thats a superb motor"
"Cheers, i'd take you for a spin but i'm late for work" I reply....

Few months ago, I had just put my goose and chip in, so I was not used to the power. Combined with wet roads, and me being a bit angry, resulted in me roaring through a junction loud enough to make people turn and look, and fast enough that I came onto a dual carriage way in Cambridge town-centre sideways :D:D:D
It's great when you pull off tricks like that, even better when there's people around to see it - there is no greater feeling of "I rock" :)

Oh dear, dangerous combination!!! Did you manage to pull it off then Will? Nice long sweeping drift? Or was it one of those all over the place, jerks when you get it straight and really slow when you pull out of it?
:D ;)

It was a nice medium length drift, which was uncharacteristic of my actual driving skill! :D
