i need to get some new cams.. mine had bc cams on them, but one of the lobes is damaged..

any ideas??

p.s. can someone tell me if i can use s14/s14a cams on 180sx red top..

you cant use s14/a/15 cams,only non vvt cams

wouldnt aftermarket 14/a cams not have the VVT on anyway? or do you still have to keep the vvt with aftermarket cams..

VVT cams will fit and work, but not advised.

I have some stock cams if you need to get by.

Obviously because we are downgrading from bc cams to a stock set all be it s14 black top cams the car will be mapped to suit which should make it ok right?

Or is it that the duration is set and designed for the vvt set up?

Basicly what will be the downside to using s14 cams?

it would just run like shit until you got it remapped.

I'm not saying i would do it, as the profiles are different, i'm just saying it is possible..
