Woot, its on :)
Wow what an amazingly deep bass line this things got on tickover :D
And guess what, its, well um Silent!!!!!! :D
Bet it'll get a fair bit louder with no cats, time will tell!!!!!!
Cheers guys your da best, and I got a Proper HKS Badge too :)
The car feels super smooth through the rev range now too :D
It is everything anyone could ask of a performance exhaust who does lots of motorway miles, super ultra well impressed :D
And the welds make Blitz welds look utter pants too, the quality is unbelievable :D
But your not allowed to buy one cause they havent got any left so there :p
Is the performance of this HKS exhaust the same, worse or better than the Blitz Nur Spec - im your opinion?
I fancy a Blitz but an unsure about the noise so would this HKS be a better choice or will it be too quiet ?
Its V. quite with the cats in, once Ive sorted all the niggles out on my car the cats will be gone, and I expect it noise wise to be spot on!
The Performance is supposed to be almost identical to the Non silent type, and that is more of less the same as the Blitz!
But the exhaust has a more controlled note, and doesnt make your insides resonate, me happy :)
Vez,
I was planning on decatting too which is why i'm concerned about going down the Blitz route.
Are you planning on taking your cats off shortly?
Id be very interested in the results, noise wise! :)

After hearing it on Vez's I think it's spot on sound wise, a lovely deep note without being OTT. Hell I almost bought one myself tbh, which scrapped my plans to have the (I think) first Apexi R95 Titanium in the UK and I really wanted one of those!
Vez, sounded awesome mate, I totally forgot to get you to start it up again so I could do a small video/sound capture with the digi cam. Be sure to remind me next time we meet:)
are there any issues with ground clearance. From the pictures if the zorst attached it looks like it hangs very low.
Daniel san

It doesn't hang any lower than a NUR Spec R and if lowered 35mm, you'll need to watch those square humps in the road mainly but you'll be ok. My Nur Spec's still ok after 2.5 yrs:)
Like Dan says, the only problematic bumps are the square ones!!!
Im going to decat in the near future, just need to sort a few bits and pieces out first!
And no you lot cant have one, cause mine is the only one in the country! :D
And was the only on in stock at HKS Japan ;)
Good thing I am in Belgium then :D
Mine could be the only one in Europe :p

Daniel san

errr, not sure if I should tell you Vez........
you may hate me for it
Im not arsed matey, it was nice to have something unique at billing :D
And this is now going to be the must have exhaust, no longer will the Blitz rein supreme ;)
I got my HKS Silent Hi-Power fitted last thursday. As Vez says it sounds great. I'm running mine with Dano downpipe and decats. At tickover and while crusing it is v quiet. At motorway speeds it is a bit louder but not intrusive. When you give it large...Ohhhh Mamma :D sounds fantastic. Loud but nothing like as loud as the goose let alone the Blitz. A great compromise.
As for performance, little less torque off boost, but that is more than compensated for when the boost arrives. It revs out much cleaner and the 5.5k power dip I had has disappeared.
Before fitting the HKS Silent i was running Apexi filter and dano downpipe/decat with 0.9bar. Fitting the HKS Silent raised the boost 1.1bar. Is this normal? Is it due to the free flowing characteristics of the new zorst?
Time for an RR sesh to check all is setup ok methinks.
Cheers,
Graham
PS buy one of these exhausts, they rock

Give me a shout mate, I've got a NUR on it's way on this shipment. Can't do silly cheap prices as they cost loads to freight anyway, but I doubt you'll get one cheaper! Specially as you're a good customer;)
