Anyone else here think that AMD are starting to take the piss?
It seems form a variety of reviews that the XP3200+ is somewhere between a P4 2.53 and 2.66 GHz in performance, yet it costs nearly as much as a 3.06!
I remember when their ratings used to be great and understated, now thirs equivalent performance chips seem to be MORE expensive than P4's. Good thing I wont bother paying a premium for the "fastest" chips when they're only about 10% faster than a chip for 1/2 the price.
What does everyone else here think?
