Just looking though one of my used car guides and spot that Reliant used Nissan turbo engines in their Scimitar SSi and SST and Sabre cars:)

Its the 1809cc turbo, but must be the old 8 valve as power is quoted as 135bhp.

0=60 of 6.5 secs, and top speed of 126mph.

Were they not the wedge shape things fromthe late 80's ???

The Scimitar GTE was the mutts nutts, my father had 2 of them. 3 litre rear wheel drive mean machine. More grunt than ms SAnchez tennis player and an arse just as big!

My brother and I hated them at the time as they leaked into a little pool on the back seats and about as much leg room as the 2 *****.
