This is a post regarding the recently banned user, Rockstar.
*** PLEASE NOTE *** this is not Rock_Star or rock_star who are also registered on this board!
Rockstar, who has caused problems for members since he started posting, recently launched a personal attack on myself.
The private messages he has sent me and my replies can be viewed by any member of the SXOC in the members forum.
However I am going to paste his final private message in this forum to show people just what we refuse to tolerate. This car club and forum are designed for people to get the most from their cars, and to bring fellow owners together in a spirit of friendship and camaraderie.
Rockstar did not want to be part of a respectable car club and instead decided to insult me (repeatedly) using the private messaging system.
As a result of this and his other, dubiously-natured posts, he has been banned.
However he made himself a new user (so I will be banning his IP and not just his username(s)) and posted this to me:

For anyone who isn't aware, Rockstar got confused between "handling" and "roadholding", and so being my usual self I pointed this out to him in one of his For Sale posts.
He blew up.
but andy - u yourself have 'blown up' on occasions havent u?obviously u havent lowered yourself to swearing and libelous jibes, but i myself have received a roasting from your good self for not a great deal really...........
but your comments above are totally justified, and i truly believe that this forum does actually bring people together in comradeship to get the most out of their cars

Hmmmmm, I was willing to forgive and forget the clash with him a couple of weeks back, but I kind of got the impression that it would'nt be the last problem we had with him.. Did he say he was going to Billing?

I am with you guys - The guy is a complete weener, needs to get a life.
I just like to say thank you to all the people on here that have put up with my stupid question for the last 6 months. If it wasn't for you guys I'd still be getting ripped off and wasting my time - not to mention not enjoying my car half as much as I do now.

Rockstar couldn't think his way from a wet paper bag, glad he's gone and impressed that mr F didn't fly off at him, which frankly I would have done, particularly since I have quite a few mates in leeds, and a trip "oop countreh" is just what the doctor ordered :)

If this is the case, should we not kill the 'non-200sx related' forum?
This would mean anything unrelated to the cars that this forum is about will not appear, and arguments of a personal nature cant start.
You cant stop idiots (please no-one do a quote!) but you can reduce the oppertunities.
I dunno, I maye be being a kill-joy, but if the forums for and about cars shouldnt the rubbish be left to when we ACTUALLY meet at the regurlar meets?

This actually started in a thread about cars, Andy pointed out he was getting confused about handling and he went off on one. And why should we all suffer just coz there are one or two idiots :mad:
