Drift-inc session 6 on Saturday 17th July @ Pembrey
Ok so we are pleased to start the entry list on DW for our 6th practise day of the year, and our West Wales ODC qualifier
So we will run Anti clockwise all day,
After lunch those wishing to be judged for the ODC will have there judged runs, then the track will open up to everyone again for free practise.
You will get three laps the first of which will be a rolling start.
Gates open at 8am
Driver / safety briefing at 9am
Track opens at 9.30 am, we run till 5pm
All levels of experience welcome with free tuition available if required, dont be afraid to ask.. we all started somewhere

The odc part is juged for a allocated hour or two of the day and the top 5 drivers qualify to drift at Mallory park in the ODC final :)

epic day! It started off slow but man i am nakered. I had a really good day! I was really shocked to have qualified!! Well done to all the guys today though, rhys i didn't see much of tyou on track, what i did see was lots of smoke though lol, woody and ian were both looking v.good. Quite a few good drivers today.

Forgotten the guys name but the guy that was driving the ex rare rims car (the s14a) was really good!. He just got a bit unlucky with the bank incident.

Another brilliant day Drift Inc, pretty much major accident free

Anything with tread on it I run . Dunlops, falcans and was on kunmo's at the end that were really sticky. All got from tyre piles fella

had a good day guy! was really busy with a bit less track time but still was nice to have the chance to watch some of the boys.
I think the judges dident let me qualify coz im ginger!!! nothing to do with my driving ability and skill pmsl!!!!!

those 3 laps were major adrenalin tho!!! really enjoyed it!!!

Hi Richy,re above! it is the 2.0 tdi, 138bhp and 220 ft lb out of the factory.

Mine has a Revo Remap which is switchable,so you can knock it off for services and winter (As it'll light up the tyres in 3rd in the wet :eek:)
its now 196bhp with 315 ft lb of torque.and will normally do 40mpg around town and 50mpg on a run (Although i have fitted a K&N which i think gives a touch more power,but is the main cause of the smoke,plus i think i'd gain a few more mpg's without it,but i love the pidgeon sound) Although after our play,that drive to work "only" saw 30mpg :D

Other mods are
Eibach springs
Golf R32 345mm front brakes
18" wheels
It is very torquey :) :thumbs:
