never used to get any, now i keep getting the dam things all day long. How do i stop them? and why have i started getting them?

This is netbios spam the only way to stop it is to turn off the messaging service via the services control panel (assuming this is win2k or XP)

do a look up on netbios spam in google for more info I too also suffered from this.

Only other way to stop it is with firewall software like zonealarm or outpost
