I am going to need a new downpipe making, ideally by measuring in situ, once the engine is in.
Car will not be running or mobile.... does anybody have the skills to do this?
Obviously I will be paying a fair amount :)

Stainless idealy :) To bolt from my T3 to HKS Silent High Power. Flexi would be a good plan I imagine, but I do not have a flexi thingy to put in there... I guess somebody with exhaust skills would have access to that sort of thing :)
I have to admit to not being sure on V-band-ness, as I dont entirely know what it is :wack:
Not sure if he does anything other than benchwork now, but Ronin Systems based at Alan Jeffreys. Did an ok job for my flexi pipe install after i measured up myself.

They're too far away. :(
They're too far away. :(
But I could weld up a jig for it and take it there  I could do it but don't have access to a TIG welder at the moment :(

I can get access to them, it's the mocking up / fabricating that I cant easily do, lots of TIG welding people I can get to weld him up for me if that helps?

Little bump for me here...
Can you mock this up for me Channie, so I cant get it welded up by somewhere near work?
Need to get this under control in the next week, at the latest!
 Aslong as you get the flanges

I have the exhaust side one... I just need to find a turbo ended one I guess, I reckon I can rustle one up :D
Do you have tube etc?

No flange on turbo end... it's a clamp... I will get a pic :)

Jesus christ!
Can you measure the diameter of the V-band, hopefully about 3 inch? what diameter downpipe do you want?
EDIT: Is it to the cat? or existing front pipe?

To decat pipe :)

OK, turns out there's 2 pipes, not 1 as I originally thought :)
A relatively simple elbow/downpipe type bit and a more complicated (screamer pipe plumbed back in) front pipe type bit.
I will get some pictures up shortly :)
I will also get the v-band clamp sent with the turbo, and confirm the required exhaust diameter to join on for certain!
Thanks for your helps today Channie
Ben, il give you a shout tomorow, can sort this easy enough:thumbs:
