Right, bored at work, and want to know whats the story with the sutton meets now then? Been hearing lots of different stories about crushing cars and the like.......

Is this the end for the sutton meet as we know it?

It's all to do with the police clamping down on the boy racers, if they catch you driving like a loony they now can confiscate your car and crush it, Jim was telling me about it the other day

Right, Ad, 2 probs:

1. Lack of People on a regular basis.

2. Rozzers. They've really stepped up their presence of late. You may have seen Sutton on the News recently. It kinda rules out Sutton. :( They've also been touring round all our favourite our little sites... Beddington, Croydon, Purley, Mitcham and the like. The A217 is also outta bounds due to the new legislation i mentioned in the txt, basically labelling Dangerous Driving on any cruisers enabling them to convisgate(sp?) cars.

A Sutton meet's kinda awkward now but at the end of the day, we are an owners club and there's too many peeps now in this area for it to just stop. We just need to find somewhere else on perhaps another night. Not actually at, but somewhere like the Monkey Puzzle, a la Chessy meets.

Anyone any ideas?

So, as long as we dont drive like loones, (or get caught ;)) we can still meet up, i only ask as we were just sat in a car park last time and got a real bollocing from a copper who seemed to have something spiky lodged up his arse :D

Wouldn't advise it. Not how/where we were before anyway. Basically they're bully-boy tactics. They come down in huge meat-wagons, manned to the trotters and give out bits of paper with warnings on them... :eek: :eek: :eek: Oh no!! Ok, so no biggy, but the fact is, we could do without the hassle. Its only gonna break up after any Bacon attention anyway, so IMO, it aint worth it. Like i say, not how we have been anyway.

I reckon, another day and/or place. An unused airfield would be good... :wack: :D :wack:

I live just under gatwick, hear that has an airfield :D

How about the car park at Sutton Police Station?

It would surely be empty all night with them being so busy out harrassing motorists?

How about the Safeway's Car-Park in Redhill?? It's plenty big-enough.. pretty easy to find..?:)

Just a suggestion, nowt at all to do with it being not very far from here.. :D :thumbs:

Again, I'm assuming that no-one is gonna come down and do do-nuts or owt silly..
