speeding fines

is there any certain time limit that a Speed Camera fine must be sent out to you within.

I think I got done by a new Truvelo (no visible flash from these puppies) forward facing camera in early June 3rd.

No fine yet..... but waiting......:rolleyes:

The NIP has to be sent out to reach you within 14 days (within reason).

As long as the NIP is sent to the address the car is registered at on the V5 within 14 days you can be charged. If you've moved house and it takes the police longer to track you down then they allow extra time for that (again, within reason)

The Infra red Truvelo cameras that look like a gatso facing the other way with a red bit on them DO flash and its a fvcking bright red flash in the eyes. I know this coz I've been flashed.

christ if it is a red flash that must be blinding at night.

Nearly did - scared the shit out of me and couldn't see from that part of my eye for the next 5 mins. Thought the bugger didn't work. What it was is that I needed to do about 100 through it to set the bugger off.
