Guys,

Not received many cheques this month. Just to let you know that due to it being so short notice about wearing helmets, just this once we'll let you off. If you don't have a helmet then you don't have to wear one this time. Only this time though! The next competition you will definately need to wear one!

Also, another new rule!

Spectators will have to pay a fee this time. Again, it's due to the owners of Turweston wanting more money. Last drift day lots of damage was caused to the carpark from people doing donuts etc. So as a way of punishing us (the owner even talked about banning us indefinately) we have to collect some more money to out into a fund. He said it will go to the local village fund to ease the strains there. The locals have complained about the noise to the council etc. so we have to keep them sweet.

It will be between £3-5 per spectator. To be decided on the day!

So guys, hope that's not put you off at all. See you all there!

James

p.s. Admins...any chance of making the drift day posts from myself or MASH stickys?

James, was'nt the noise and the damage to the carpark entirly down to the guys that came over from Ireland? I think it's a bit harsh that we all get (in ur words) 'punished' I would say that if they want to come back again then maybe they should front up the money for the 'damage'.

Oh well, looks like I won't be there anyway (cars not well :( )

Hows it looking for getting Rockingham for Rounds 3 and 4?

I'm up for it if I dont need a crash helmet. The big attraction of drifting to me is the easy going, just turn up and do it side of things. Theres f*ck all to hit on an airfield anyway. (apart from the water bowser of course:) )

I can see the owners being upset, although I struggle to see how they can complain about noise, when it's an airfield!!! A real pain that the Irish lot fcuked about :( Oh well, I guess it's all teething troubles. I'll deffo be there mowing judges down :D Do I sen the cheque to Mash or James?

(Matty, sell yer brother or something to raise the cash to drift ;) )

So many questions ;)

Ok, the fee for spectators is £5
Competitors fee is £50

If you could get a cheque off by the end of the week then send it to:

James Wolstenholme
5 Palmers Moor
Thornborough
Bucks
MK18 2HP

If you can't get it off by Friday/Saturday please just bring cash on the day.

Turweston is on the A43 between Brackley and Towcester. Look it up on Multimap or some other such website.

Don't need a helmet this time, but definately will do next competition and practice!

Any more questions guys?

James
