Mg/rover specialist/ breakers

Hi guys! hope all is well

My shitty van's rattle has become more apparent and it turns out that it has a dodgy camshaft. Does anyone know of any breakers in the area that may supply the parts so i dont get financially raped by those who supply garages? 500 quid for a camshaft seems a bit expensive for my liking!

Try the rover/MG forums they must have std cams for sale on there!

BTW.. he's got the 1.8VVT engine (not sure of the exact model).

I can't remember if there's a difference between the MEMS2 (143bhp) & MEMS3 (160) VVC cams. Either way, try rovertech.net and MG-rover.org

ZR Van? Will be a 160. I know somebody who might have a pair, will ask him.

EDIT: Inlet or Exhaust? As Inlet is 2 cams.

hi guys, sorry, left the most vital parts of information out!

its the 1.8 vvc engine and the part is an inlet cam for cylinders 3 and 4 .

am on mg-rover.org so will have a check now :)
