I very much doubt it!

You've probably got a dry solder or something! Mines read a steady 130mph when going about 60 mph, really should get it fixed!

If that's 100mph, my rev counter would be showing about 4.5krpm in 5th I think.

no it's not correct, revs reading about 1/2 I'd say.

It's roughly 22mph/1000rpm, unless you have one of Gary's new fangled boxes then it'll be higher but not that much higher.
