View Full Version : 2010 Trip - Last minute problems list
Mine are:
No passport (supposedly being printed and I will have it Monday)
No driving licence (I only have the yellow slip the nice police man gave me when he took it off me)
No suspension on the car!! (having HSDs fitted, some poor planning by me, hope it doesn’t go wrong).
No space in the car (Doc has sorted this, thanks my man :thumbs: )
I’m still getting rather excited :D
Fingers crossed :D
Well, just called to check on the car, and its being corner weighted at the moment, so basically no problems there :D She also said the stance is looking awesome and its on the deck!
No nasty ramps onto the Eurostar to add further problems to my list? :eek:
If you think the car is too low just refuse to go on the top deck, I have before now, they don't mind.

Breakdown Cover - Mine was £53 with the AA, not bad considering its a 1992 car, and I had to tick the box for every mod they listed other than a roof box.
Insurance - I was shocked, only £26 with Flux to add Jamie. Considering he is only 24, I thought thats was a great price.

Well I'm planning to take the Rangey, but alas it still isn't firing up. Blooming diesels :ghey:
If I can get it going, then it will be epic as the sound system is the best, and should suit our needs for reveling antics :D

Well, I swapped the car for a van today and now need to come back on a different crossing as theres no space on the 17:00 crossing :wack:
Dont want a too early rise to get there for 1;30, so its the later one. 8pm check in! :wack:
Dayinsure on the van aint too bad, but I think Ill leave the driving for Darryl :thumbs:

Only two issues.
The 200 is misfiring like a ****. swapping the cam tonight.
I cant add Jim onto my insurance as temporary cover is only within the uk... gay..

I couldn't add Ali to my insurance due to it being on a "high performance category"...
Driving other cars TPFT only seems to cover UK according to my broker as well.....

Mate, we were never taking the Passat. We were going int he BM.
The amount of gear I have here to go in the van, apart from the fridges it could all go in the Passat tho if need be :thumbs:

Rangey isn't going, but bought another 540i this morning just for this journey :D we will have tunage :D

Happy to take whoever although they will need to crash at mine the night before, unless they can get to mine by 5am on Thurs morning. Famous Monster is probably the closest thinking about it.

i think FM is still in two minds, it depends on how his uni work gets graded when he goes in tomorrow (hand in date is thursday)
at the moment i think I'm in with cloudy and there's no FM. if FM comes along he can jump in with Dan. or if deacon's car's ****ed. i'll take mine, FM can jump in with cloudy and deacon and jim are in with me.
