Has anyone got a downpipe and a cat i can borrow for my MOT?? (pretty please)
At present my downpipe is the same length as a standard downpipe and cat together. Obviously i have no cat lol
also do disks and pads come under MOT? My rear disks are scored really bad but work fine
thanks guys :)

Can't help with the down pipe
But i am sure the performance of the brakes is tested.
General condition and wear of Pads and discs? is probably a question better directed at Chris:nod:

Does not matter if the disk is scored, as long as the disk and pad are of the required thikness.

disks and pads are not a problem as they need replacing anyway tbh so not too worried about that. Just don;t know how i'm going to get around the whole cat situation. Can;t afford to buy a new downpipe and cat and a cat replacment pipe
Also not sure what downpipe i need. I have a s14 sr20det with a 3" downpipe, no cat or cat replacement pipe, and i have a s15 catback system.
How do i know if i have a downpipe to suit a s14 or an s14a??

Don't think so as the elbow holes won't line up
i thought s14 and s15 elbows and downpipes are the same?

na pretty sure their not as i tried to fit a stainless elbow before and the holes didn't line up. I'm not sure tbh, can anyone confirm for deinate. I've seen people also selling s14 downpipes and s14a downpipes and have stated they are different. Somthing to do with the s14a having 2 cats??
