Bit of a luddite when it comes to files so help needed, How do I convert cue/bin files in to a vcd I can watch on my dvd player? or is it not possible

use a program like nero, you open the cue file and the vcd should be created.
its just an image file.
alternatly you can use something called demon tools to mount the bin/cue file so you can watch it on your pc.

Hmm the cue file tells your burning software what type of cd to make and the track information/type/filesystem.
The bin file is a big file of binary data that the cue file points to.
Not sure your circumstances but running say nero, and picking 'burn cd image' then pointing it at the .cue file may be all you need to do.
If not try something like daemon tools to mount the cd image and see whats in it.
