Just had a great thrash with one of those fat golfs 20v turbo ( i think) it was quick but i was much quicker, through 2/3miles of good country lanes. and the water temp stayed level considering the amount of stick i gave it. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Any Golf's easy prey, good to hear you showed him how a car is supposed to perform. In my experience golf owners think their cars are quick, WTF? :confused:

...it's all relative I suppose. I think my 205's quick, but I wouldn't rate its chances against a 200 :) For a scrabbly hatch the golfs aren't too bad, IMO. As long as it's all good fun, eh? :thumbs:

Ho ho ho (edited to say: I'm not really Father Christmas.. honest). A Golf tried it on with me too just the other day!

Sat next to me at some lights, then booted it away, I let him get a 100m head start then put my foot down.

You could see him try to speed up when he saw me coming, but twas to no avail! hahaha!

at least he wasnt bitter about loosing when we got to the 30 limit and slowed he gave a :thumbs: . not like most VW BMW AUDI etc drivers. just went for a blat again whoo hoo my car is nippy, Damn that lag :D

Think it's called the Golf VR6 4-Motion, couldn't find any pic's though.

The Vr6 4 motion is the 200 odd HP 2.8 ltr golf with 4WD, the R32 is the 3.2 with 240BHP and 4WD
The 6R4 was an 80's rally car and had 420BHP and was a metro (sort of) Looked fookin ugly though.
Gimme an RS200 any day:)

It's a travesty that they used the R32 name for it.:mad:
