Can someone please explain to me what all this fuss is about with Harry Potter?

its good old fashioned story telling, nothing complicated...good guys, bad guys and a bit of mystery thrown in.
Still, don't expect anything more than a childrens story.

seriously tho, apparently they arent that good, overhyped. i'll stick to proper fantasy as there's still a lot of good books i've yet to read.
