Trying to buy an s13

I just want a mint completely standard car, do these not exist?

I have the money burning a hole, and want to get one as a project, i really want a tidy un-abused base to start with, any help apprecciated.

Yes they exist, but very rare. Between rust, big ends, crashes and modifications, and being discontinued 16 years ago, and not having sold that many in the first place, there aren't many mint standard cars left.

Maybe one mint looking one comes up every couple of months or so on here, generally go for £2-£3k for a really clean one. Sometimes autos are available in good condition and low mileage, they tend to attract the older (richer) folks and be better looked after. Keep an eye on Autotrader and your local garages, and the for sale section here.

One other thing, be prepared to travel for the right car, cos there won't be many around in our specific area.

i bought mine completly std with very low milage but i did wait a while to find it, so the good news is they are out there, just be prepaired to wait.

however, a guy pulled into the garage where i work the other day in a 1990 H pre face, with 63k on the clock and looked really nice, said it was for sale and wanted around £1700 which i thought was a good price, he isnt on the forum and said he will be selling on ebay/locally, he lives in haywards heath.

so look out for it. or if i see him come in to fill up with fuel again ill grab his number.

That is a good price, same sorta thing i had mine for, but the shell's on quite a bit more! I'd say look into this one matey
