I just got an e-mail through from Ticketsoup Telling me Joe Satriani is doing a UK Tour. This guy is a legend.
I am going to see him, And it looks like I am going to see him myself. But I don't care.

Saw him years ago about '93 I think, on the tour for "The Extremist" at Hammersmith Apollo :notworthy

Cheers, for the heads up. I've seen him a couple of times at Bournemouth Pavillion. The man is a true guitar hero :notworthy

Yep Satch is ok, his best stuff is on 'Surfing' and 'Flying'....

......but in terms of guitar talent Richie Kotzen is touring the UK and he's easily the best guitarist I've ever seen live :nod: That includes seeing Vai, Satch, Slash, Gilbert, Friedman, Bettencourt and Petrucci....plus a whole load of others.

I'm not saying they aren't all great guitarists, but Kotzen just seemed to be at a whole other level when I was fortunate to catch him on tour last year....and amazingly even though there was hardly anyone there he's coming back! :)

Seems to be a few guitar fans on here!

Anyone going to see Joe Bonamassa as he tours the UK? I have a ticket to see him in Birmingham at the end of the month and can't wait!

No I am not, he is not coming to Scotland which is a damn shame as I would have loved to :(

Also booked my ticket earlier for Satch. One of the lads from my work is going with me. Front stalls row 7.
All I am waiting on now is for Chickenfoot to announce they are doing a UK tour

I was meant to go see him afew years ago but i crashed my car afew days before so i couldnt get over there :annoyed: hopefully this time tho :)

He was awesome! If he ever tours the UK again, keep an eye out. Best gig I have been to in a long while. :thumbs:
